class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>The Commissioner&#8217;s Vision<\/h4><p>The Hidalgo County Precinct 2 Indoor Sports Complex is a free, public, indoor youth baseball and softball facility, which has eight batting cages, a full-size infield, and two pitching mounds. This first of its kind facility south of San Antonio will provide Hidalgo County residents free access to baseball and softball training on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Hidalgo County Precinct 2 Indoor Sports Complex will also have an onsite baseball trainer for one on one batting lessons. (Students must be ages 8-18 to participate with the onsite baseball trainer.)<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Commissioner Eddie Cantu\u2019s vision for equitable access to sports training will allow the youth of Hidalgo County to practice baseball and softball year-round, in a safe environment at no cost. Members may use each of the three activities; batting cages twice, infield, and one-on-one training, only once a week.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The use of the facility is limited to 45 minutes per activity, with a 15 minute transition period, per week, per member. No more than two (2) coaches per batting cage per hour and a minimum of one (1) coach.&nbsp;<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Full teams are allowed no more than two (2) cages per session per hour.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Infield will be available to the public by appointment only once (1) a week. No more than three&nbsp;<\/b><b style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif;\">(3) coaches, and a minimum of four (4) trainees and one (1) coach per hour.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Participants (including coaches) must show up in workout attire and athletic shoes.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>All coaches are responsible for trainees during their session.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>No equipment will be available. Participants must bring their own equipment (balls, bats, gloves&nbsp;<\/b><b style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif;\">etc.)<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>No candy, gum, flower seeds, flavored drinks or food allowed in the facility.&nbsp;<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3d54918 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3d54918\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Batting Cage Booking Rules<\/h4><h5>Rule 1<\/h5><div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><strong>ACKNOWLEDGE<\/strong>, agree, and represent that I understand the nature of such activities and that I am qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate in such Activity.
